GMR - April 10, 2011

The meet point will be at a Kohl's in Upland with a very large parking lot. The address for Kohl's is:

1923 N Campus Ave
Upland, CA 91784

This puts us only about 5 miles or so from the beginning of the run. The total distance for the entire cruise is 43.3 miles. It should last about an hour and a half total. Once we finish the run the meeting point will be at either La Tolteca, or Max's Mexican. We're taking votes on where to eat in the original thread, here. The restaurants are both very close to the end of the run. As of right now, La Tolteca is ahead in the voting and the address is:

Azusa, CA 91702

Keep an eye on the original thread though, as the restaurant is subject to change based on the votes. I'll let everyone know which one we choose before we leave the Kohl's lot.

Meet time at the Kohl's in Upland at 2:45p.m. We will leave the lot at 3:30p.m. We should arrive for dinner between 5 and 5:30p.m.

Here is the route we are taking. I will have directions for everyone at the Kohl's and will hand them out before we leave. The drive is a lot of fun and the views are pretty incredible. See you all on the 10th!!!

 

The weather is supposed to be really nice, and we've decided on LaTolteca for dinner. See you all Sunday

if my own car club didnt have a run i would have gone i was in ponoma sat to sun but i was gone by 630am on sunday i went to mojave airport

 

it was pretty fun but only one ss tc showed up and me lol

 

Thanks to everyone for coming! We had 61+ vehicles. Vipers, Subaru's, Vette's, Mustangs, Camaro's, Evo's, SRT4's, G8, MK IV Supra, a Genesis Coupe, etc.

Next month we're doing Upper Tujunga/Angeles Crest. We're currently voting on a date, but I'm leaning towards Sunday, May 15th if that works for everyone.

If GMR was a one way road it would be perfect. But last time I went up there I almost got in a head on collision with a 3/4 pickup... lol I slowed down a bit after that... There needs to be a sanctioned race up the hill on there sometime. That would be bad ass
