well first i would like to say thanks for your service and hope you trip back here goes well. secondly and you'll probably be more happy to hear is that starting the beginning of 2013 california will no longer be doing tailpipe tests for smog inspection and will be switching over to using your cars onboard OBD II computer sensors to test your emissions.
