I just ran an autocross at Altamont Motorsports park last weekend. It went really well. I am thinking of doing another one in July.
Here is a pic of the park. A lot of different configurations as you can see.
There were several different kinds of cars there & I thought I would see if you guys might want somewhere to play.

 

i pass by that track every day and never knew it existed, the next time you go i'll probably be there, when and how much is it?

 

It's looking like July 22. I will have the whole place for the entire day. Gates would open about 9am & we play hard til about 7pm. You will get lot's of time on track & times are posted after every run group. Cost is going to be about $75 for the entire day.

 

do you need a helmet to race?

 

Yes you do. That's about it though.
