Hawaii Cobalts
That's exactly what I was thinking! That's ******* awesome man! Anyone down to use that as our group decal? Just add island ecotecs underneath and we'll be gold! I got someone working on the other decal idea right now.

I failed my recon inspection the first time around with ssi springs and stock shocks and struts. I had to get adjustable shocks and make them as soft as possible to pass, and even then I had to get a second opinion. If they try to fail you, ask for a second opinion tho...

how exactly do they test the travel or whatever. Its not just some punk ass pushing down on my trunk testing it is it?
edit: I know I have atleast an inch cause my tires will rub when I hit certain dips

Yea I passed the first time on just SSI springs and stock struts/shocks..Im on FE5's now...It's just some guy pushing down on the front and rear ends...Put if he's a cool guy he'll let you put just "lowered" on the recon permit. Thus allowing you to go as low as you want after the inspection

What if the dude is all bitch made and can't push my car
I don't plan on going any lower, I'm actually looking to get back on 225/40s...I'm on 245/40s right now. Want/need to get rid of them

I think you passed the first time cuz your shocks were blown...and yeah all they do is come out and push on your car. Technically you gotta put down how much of a drop you've got and if you change your drop and get caught (pulled over for speeding or something) you can get a ticket for recon violation.
What happens if you have recon and get caught with a recon violation they will revoke your permit, scrape your sticker and give you a ticket. Then you also have to completely redo the entire process over again.

No, My struts/shocks werent blown then...I hardly drove because my Safety was expired at the time...That's why I said if he's cool then he'll let you put down just "lowered" and not the actual drop...But anywho..back to the decal!
