^This. ***** pretty wack. I got my alignment checked at "Island Brake and Alignment" or whatever in Pearlridge. **** cost me like $105 and they give you a piece of paper that shows whether your cars within specs or not. Take it to the recon place, dude will scope your car out. Don't have stickers and **** on it or you'll have to take them off like I did. But once you do the recon you don't really have to do it again...
Check this out, lots of good info on here. Ticket & Recon Advice - Hawaii's #1 Forums
Welcome to the catch 22 of hawaii traffic laws. You need safety to get registration. You need to recon to get safety. you need registration to get safety as well.

You need to make an appointment for recon and sometimes they are back logged a few monthsso make your appointment first so you can get your alignment done withen 30 days of the recon appt. The recon hours are just like 830-4 mon-fri or something like that.

SO yea this inspection is pretty much keeping me from wanting to go here. I have 15% tint on the back 3 windows and 30 or 35 on the drivers and passenger window. I have Projector Halos 18" rims with Dropzone springs. Toyo Proxy 4's 215/40/18. I'm guessing I will fail the inspection with all of this?
