The one I usually go thru is Roller Warehouse - Aggressive Skates Shop - Inline Rollerblades they usually have pretty good prices and they almost always hook you up with a lot of freebies. i f you call they will try to always get you a pretty good discount on whatever you are ordering as well.

There are a Lot of parks on this island too. Hickam afb has the largest by far tho. Its a wooden park built in an old hanger. Decent size street course, 2 bowls and a vert ramp. theres also a smaller park on the other side of hickam, but it's got wierd rules. Ford island, schofield, AMR, kapolei, ewa beach, makiki, aala (in chinatown), pearl city, mililani, hawaii kai, kailua, kaneohe, kaneohe mcb, north shore, theres parks all over the place! If you grab skates, you won't regret it!

 

I'll have to do it then. Is it legal to skate the streets or no cause there are parks everywhere.

 

That's iffy. Its completely illegal to skate in waikiki. Outside of waikiki you can skate around but if you try to hit a ledge or a bench or something the cops have been known to give tickets. But there's a few spots that are safe

i do flatland bmx,and some park ride, but thats a long time ago.

@iboost: look at the 'boots only' section. They usually will hook you up with free frames wheels and bearings for the price of just the boot. That way you can get a better skate for your money. Again if you like roces I strongly recommend valo brand. If not valo you should def check out xsjado. I just got my first pair of xsjados a few months ago and I love em!

@fakamean: what are you up to this sunday? Before I go skating I'm prolly gonna go to the hobby shop on hickam to install my new rear shocks (they should be in today). Its an easy job but it'll give us a chance to meet at least.

So me and richard talked a little bit about the decal thing last night and decided that we are gonna keep the 'island ecotec' moniker. As for a design I got a friend who does graphics stuff on his computer so when we all get a chance to meet I'll bring him along and we'll have a rap sesiion to figure out a design. I'm thinking we can have 2 decals. We can have one that's like what I got. And then something else with some kind of logo or something. Richard wants pedobear on there somehow lol.

I was thinking that we could do a decal of the island of oahu with 'island ecotecs' curving up underneath and pedobear 'peeking' over the top...
