Good call Jimbo that local looks sick for a meet, we def need a place with good parking and good cooking. It looks like we are getting a good turn out so far, my goal is 20+ balts. We need to start getting some big meets in socal, I dont know if you guys saw the member list for the ohio meet, they got like 50+ balts damn!!!

The park you mentioned has a fee associated with it. It's a couple of bucks a car or $75 for up to 50 people. That may be something to look into.

it doesn't say anything about a reservation and being the weekend, they are closed.

if its going to be less than 20 cars it may be worth it to pay the $3 per car vs the $75 for the group. Its not a majr holiday so the fee's won't go up for the 20th.

 

You dont have to cover the fee Jimbo just cause your organizing man. If its only a couple of bucks I think everyone could cover that, I mean how much have we spent on our cars now lol. Is everyone gonna bring food and drinks or whats going on with that?

Sounds great everyone can't wait. Jimbo are you going to put the details out for people who want to attend? What park, where? I agree with the other post you don't need to be responsible for the fees. If everyone puts in what they can I know we can cover anyone that doesn't have the fee...

 

why dont we find a place thats free to meet up at and then all cruise to like a sonic or something to eat and then we all go for a cruise afterwards

 

i'm still currently looking for another location somewhere in that proximity that's free for parking . another idea is to meet at huntington beach and cruise pch, last time we didn't pay anything for parking. it's gotta be somewhere in the oc area because of the distance between san fernando valley and san diego. if you guys know anywhere better, please let me know. i don't mind paying a parking fee, but i also don't beleive we should have to on a sunday. general idea is most amount of cobalts and best possible location though.
as far as bbqing goes i'm def gonna bring a bunch of meet, everything else we can do potluck style.
EDIT: i'm going on a route recon right now to scout locations.

just got back from the route recon, found an awesome park called yorba linda, but they still charge for parking!!!!!!!!!!!anyhow i'm gonna call them monday and try to work out a deal. from there it's a 30 minute cruise to huntington beach. if anybody has a better location post it please. i also cruised from there down to laguna beach but no parking!!! while i was heading ther i ran a callaway c16 vette. he handed me my ass by about 4-6 car links. but it was still a blast. he was cool as hell too, i pulled up next to him at the light and we talked for a moment.

 

the only thing about the beach is that its going to start getting really crowded espically around the 20th... maybe we could meet in the o.c. and cruise through ortega hwy or somthing?

 

i totally agree, today ther was a buch of people. we need a start point and a rally point though. or we could just do it like last time meet at the bbq location and figure that part out from there.
