Krops track day at streets of willow
it's one of the drawbacks to the 370Z...it's fine if you're just using it to drive around town or even if you drive a little spirited every now and then, but if you go all out like you do on a track the engine oil will overheat on it to a point where it goes into limp mode when the oil temps reach about 280....fortunately for the 2012 model year nissan finally started including a very basic oil cooler thats good for some light auto crossing, but the engine itself still needs a full on 25 or 34 row oil cooler to be able to stand up to track duty which sucks, but i knew before i even got the car that i would need one to be able to go out on the track
haha oh damn that sucks well funny enough there was a 370z nismo edition on the track with me and i blew by it every time lol guy also didnt know how to drive very well either lol
didnt happen to be like a darker grey color did it? cause if so i was just reading a post by that guy on the 370 forums and he just got it not to long ago so i wouldnt be surprised if he didnt know how to drive lol
That's cuz he has a "track car" not a nurburgring christened cobalt ss son with our factory equipped oil ice box! Lolol I kid... but seriously the way the Z cars are hyped by magazines and the factory, you would think they could handle themselves better on the track.
