Only 10 days away before the Lake Tahoe meet.... I was told that the 5 North will be closed from May 30th for 6 weeks from Stockton to Sacramento which leads us to take the 5 North to 99 North to 50 East to get to Lake Tahoe...

I assume since the 5 will be closed a lot more traffic will be on the 99 North.... what time did you guys have in mind for driving out there? I was thinking if we can get an early head start we might beat some rush hour traffic both in Fresno and by stockton where all the traffic will be pushed over to the 99....

Anyone up for leaving the LA area around 4 AM or so on Friday? That should put us in Tahoe around 1-2 PM or so pending traffic...

I-5 is closed from US 50 to I- 80. Small chunk which you will not have to worry about. There should be easy detours.

 

We are our... new jobs = working wierd hours = can't make it.

sorry bud i had to drop out man will be spending the time up in ridgecrest getting my car finished. the motor just got finished this week.

you aint kiddin man. i just wanna get her on the road, will have only a week to drive it before i ship it off to germany, and then i will be getting deployed in the fall so i'll probably get to drive it for a few weeks only when i get there.

 

let me know when you wanna do some drive bys or what not. would love to see this up and running

 

will do, gotta get the motor broken in and tuned first though.
