How does May 26th (Memorial Day) sound for a meet at Mt. Charleston? It's plenty of time in advance so hopefully we can get a really good amount of people. As soon as this seems to interest people, I'll set up a good event thread for it.

 

sounds good...talked to speedracer's wife last night, they were out shopping for houses on saturday. she said he realized about 230 that he was supposed to bring his SS SC out with us...sadly they're selling their cobalt....any takers?

haha its not an SS/TC....I said SS SC, his price will probably be close to blue book retail since they are in no real hurry to get rid of it.

 

haha Yea I know that! I was just stating... hmm well idk. I'll probably have better luck getting an SS/TC at the dealer because they said they could probably get me financed really well as a first time buyer and my dad cosigning will help. I just have to wait until my 18th b-day (Oct. 13th). So hopefully by November, I'll be able to smoke Dark SS.

And yes, your 263HP with a short 6 gear tranny and AWD should smoke him...sorry to say haha.....

 

ha 6 speed AWD...I WISH! My buddy gave me a ride in his Stage 2 SS/SC and I thought it pulled great... it's definitely enough power for me.

Yeah I talked to Henderson Chevy for about 30 minutes. I talked to a sales guy, the sales manager, and the new orders manager. He said he's already ordered 3 SS/TC's and they should be there within the next 30 days. The sales guy said he will give me a call the minute one shows up on the lot and let me take a test drive. For now, I'm gunna try and build up a nice down payment (at least $2000 by Oct) and hopefully work stuff out.

I owe $11,600 on my LS and I'm currently paying ~ $2.15/day for interest, so by the time October comes around, I should be down to about $10k, and I'll hopefully have a $2,500 down payment and maybe I can even talk my dad into throwing in another $500-$1000 into the down payment.

I'm hoping by the time July or August rolls around, I can get a credit card and at least build up a little bit of credit, so I figure that:
1. Making more than my minimum ON TIME every month for my LS (GMAC)
2. Having a $3500 (if my dad is nice) DP
3. Having decent credit (and my dad cosigns)
will convince GMAC to let me finance a Cobalt SS/TC.

 

So now everyone is trying to keep up with me?? Sorry guys but ive got some more plans....anyways mt charleston sounds good.... theres also a road from armagosa to shosone to pahrump thats pretty good so either way
