LNF/LSJ Engine builder

Well, looks like I'm probably going to build the bitch up. Was wondering if anyone knew reputable shops that have had some experience in the LNF/LSJ Ecotec field. Socal LA area location. Will need to install cams/valves/fuel lobe/ pistons/ rods etc. All the good stuff.

Try Whitfield racing. Jason built that bad ass red cobalt. Only shop I know of. We had a dyno day there for one of our meets

EXsoccer1921 Mar 28, 2013 01:34 PM

Buy some tools and have yourself a good learning experience

Fastgti69 Mar 28, 2013 03:52 PM

I guess I will have to call them. I've heard about them many times.

Fastgti69 Mar 28, 2013 03:56 PM

Apparently they don't do that stuff right now with our motors. They said they need to plan it out and sort it out and it will take a while etc. LOL They said they're too busy with honda and acura right now. So I guess I have to find another shop..

I have a guy who has a shop in Whittier who does builds, he mostly works on Honda/Acura but he only does performance builds on them. I can ask him if he would do it

Wanna ask if he would build the motor by taking out the head and dropping the oil pan. I wanna install cams/valve springs, larger fuel pump lobe, pistons and rods.
