lol nothing set steven still saving up for the stage 2,h/e,dual pass option b, and rotated mount.lol. Right now I would just be being tuned for intake,header,3inch dp,catback, and ported blower and tb.lol. I am gonna get the Gm stg. 2 and than do a custom retune on that and I would like to go down to like a 2.9 pulley maybe. you still have that pullley for sale? Oh and I have a spare pcm to be tuned on.lol

do not bother wasting your money w/ gm's stg2 reflash.

shaun has plenty of gm stg2s he can flash you with

if your that concerned w/ legality. I cant imagine blue bolts being that hard to find.

unfortunately i got rid of my 2.9 long ago.

-------

If you just wanna go w/ a stg2 pulley. Honestly, and this is seriously being honest here. Save the cash... buy the pulley n hub, some 60s, h/e, and the rotated mount.

There isnt a need for a option b or dual pass on a 3". Saves you roughly 200-300 bucks right there.

get those items, then get a tune.

Ya, but changing injectors takes all of 10 minutes. As does a different pulley on a stage 2 hub.
Me thinks your overreacting.

Oy...

They're practically maxed as it is on a 3" pulley...

Rusty do yourself a HUGE favor and just tune for 60s.

Well, I not to sound *******-ish, but I dont pay attention to ppls mods until you become my customer. Gotta take care of the ones who paid more so than the ones who haven't, i'm sure you understand though.

Anyways, You can run 42 lbs injectors, but from a tuner stand point here in cali, we really struggle with keeping them in check with anything but a 3.0 and above pulley. A 2.9 pulley puts then at 118 injector duty cycle with a fair 11.5-11.6 afr. I would feel more comfortable tuning with 60s, merely cause I dont want your injectors to have sort of freak accident and stay stuck open. But if your adamant on your 42s, I can tune you to the best of my abilities and do my best to see that your running safe.

As for tools on changing out those parts.
A ratchet
10mm socket
crescent wrench for fuel rail nut
Shop towels
15mm open end for the belt tensioner
and a set of allen keys, or stage 2 tool to take off those screws.
Keep it in a backpack in your truck....You should be carrying tools in your car anyways, just in case, lol.

Np man. Just lemme know, we can spruce up that tune of yours if you feel the need for more speed. And the good thing is, you wont have to pay me again when u decide to upgrade.
You get free updates on the tune when you pay me

I would vote to go with Trifecta....or if you do want HP tuners go with Area 47 I think he either would be better than stevo.

not to bash area 47 i know he is a good tuner but u seriously need to consider going the hpt route and have a tuner tune u in person. They can perfect u exactly how u want it a lot easier

On the contrary, Im not an Area47 nutswinger, But I respect him and his tuning very much. Alot of ppl have problems with him, but asides from all the "drama" that surrounds him, hes knows his **** about these cars, and he def. knows his tuning. Area has also always helped me whenever I was in a rut, or needed some help, hes never turned me away.
I also know how he tunes, I don't wanna use the word **** retentive, but my god is he ever spot on when it comes to tuning. If you ever get a chance to work with Area, I would def. jump at the chance. It's thanks to people like him who have helped me progress to where I am now.
Enough of my ode to Area. Canned tunes aren't the best out there. Im sure some can get you close, but from what i've seen, regardless of how close one can get, theres still alot more to gain. The tuner/customer relationship should be a 1 on 1, face to face basis. Of course, like I posted above there are exceptions to the rule. But those are far and few in between. The best route hands down, is to find a good tuner in your area, and put your car in his hands. If hes even half good, his results will yield better than what most vendors can supply you with.
