I might be moving around the LA area and wanted to know are their alot of moded cobalts around the southern cali area? Are their cobalt crews?and were does everyone hang out at and street race at? About four years ago i use to go out their all the time to see my cousins but they arnt into cars like me. I wanted info on this because it will probably help me to make a decision on if i should go or if i stay in Texas.

 

Well I am moving to CA in about a week. I am going to Temecula, CA. Temecula is about 1 hour and 30 mins out side of L.A.

I dont know about LA but in Redding, Ca where i live which is about 12hrs from LA there are a **** load of stock cobalts that are driven by "older" people looking for some good MPG.......But im sure the "scene" is a little better in LA. Good luck with the move.

 

In the bay area it seems we have a meet every week. We probably have 8-11 cobalts and I think 3 redlines.

 

I am staying the night in Redding on my way to Temecula. Redding is pretty much the halfway point for my drive.

 

Is the cerritos meet at the place where they have the movie theater and they use to have laser tag? or is it at the mall?

 

yeah there use to be a laser tag place there.

I would love to live in SoCal. The problem is earthquakes! I felt a 1.4 once in my region and nearly **** myself. I could not imagine what any worse would feel like.

 

i spent 25 years in oakland. ( moved out of cali a few years ago) i felt very few quakes. the 89 was the last one i felt. but i thought they were fun. how people can live on the east coast with the hurricanes, the midwest get tornadoes. no thanks. i'll stick with cold weather here in wyo..

Sweet, too bad there arnt many or any members at all from Redding because i wouldnt mind a meet every once and awhile but its not worth it to drive all the way to Sac.....
