i have an 05 cobalt ss/sc. i just got new pistons installed and now i have a long crank before it starts. so im thinking the injectors are staying open or something. the injectors are 60#. plus the previous tune was done by cobalt-addiction, which i have heard might be the problem. plus i am in the military and i am currently stationed in south carolina and i really need my car with me but my car is in san bernardino california. i already have a company to deliver it to me but no one wants to take it cause of the long time it takes to start. someone please help.

 

how long does it take to start?

 

i have heard it crank for maybe 3, 4 second intervals. and after it starts it will start just fine the next couple of times, then if we let it sit right after we turn it off it wont start.

yeah i have met him before and i tried calling him today but he hasnt answered.

ohh and i had the pistons installed, i was in boot camp at the time and the mechanic has tripled checked all the alignments and i even bought a new sensor. i just need to get my car running good so i can bring it to where i am.
