Now you just need some rims and tires.

It looks good, but you seriously need to get the front on asap. You have most of your weight shift to the rear, its not designed to be that way haha, grant it the rear is stiffer, i would highly suggest to get the front on right away. Looks awesome:

I just used regular spray paint to black them out and I did not use a clear coat. I really like the way it looks with just the smaller ones blacked out!

For those of you that are using Night Shade and blacking out your tail lights, I just thought you would like to know that the law in California says your tail lights must be visable from 300 ft away. Keep that in mind when doing this mod if your worried about tickets.

hey thanks hot rod i was curious about that. so do you think we could lightly night shade the main lights and if they are still visible 300ft away would that be legal?

thank you for the important piece of info. that is good to know. I am going goin to black mine out slightly, you will be able to see it from 300ft at least.

Can you see your reverse light? What type of spray paint did you use? Hopefully its not the one im thinking.....cause you might have some problems later on. Did you sand your lights at all with a fine grit? I am really diggin the lights, I just like to ask the paint questions cause not too many people know how paint really works(not saying you dont, but in auto body they gave us a huge book strictly on the types of paint, what the adhear too and other stuff)

Haha we have a whole page of the mods we did/going to do in the thread

I used duplicolor high gloss spray paint, it can be removed with most paint thinners. You can still see my reverse lights so its all good. I sanded them lightly and I like these pages of mods dont get me started about my new downpipe and header, my car sounds like a beast. I most likely will have the loudest non/SC balt at the meet.

Good thing you got good paint. I saw this picture of some dude who painted his black (it was like a year ago) well the paint he used, has an acidic property so it can bond to metal better without primer, well he did that on his light, and it melted! haha, funny ****. You should clear coat them, I have some duplicolor clear coat if you want to use it.

i did my taillights very lightly w/ nightshades and i think its perfect! i did it kinda complicated but i think it was worth it. first i taped off the whole face(the part you see when standing behind the car) of the outter tails and i sprayed the sides only w/ 3 coats, along w/ taping off the reverse lights and spraying them w/ 3 coats. then i sprayed the 3rd brakelight and side markers w/ 4 coats, because i figured i wouldnt get hasseled too much for it. finally i untaped the outters and sprayed the entire light w/ one coat. i also used 3-4 layers of clear w/ some wet sanding.
they are a lil darker in person, but here you can see the difference.

I think they look nice. Not too much, and just enough to make a difference.
