Alrighty folks...
Thurman, (bigworm) as most of you know has HPTuners availible for the cobalt 2.4 and also the Cobalt 2.0 and he is willing to tune as many cars as possible as long as we pay for HPtuners credits ($100 for each car) and also supply the cost of dyno pulls (also about $100). So basicly we're looking at roughly $200 for a custom tune for your cobalt...
The 2.4's will be an easy tune, and should only take about 20 minutes each.
The 2.0 Tune needs to be fine tuned a bit more, but will take roughly an hour for each SS/SC.
we would rent out a dyno in Hayward for an entire day and tune the cars.
What i really want to know, is how many people are actually interested in this and will throw down the money to make this happen.
vote and let me know what works...

Just keep in mind, i'm not selling anyone a tune! We're just trying to cover the costs for the dyno and credits. I'll be doing custom tuning for free, as long as i get to play on the dyno too =]
Unlike, other tuners, I'll leave your ecm writeable so you can change anything in the future without my assistance, or if you buy hptuner in the future.... and after the dyno day i'll email anyone who wants thier stock and custom tuned hpt's files.
Also, i'm extremely pissed off about internet scams at the moment, so please be reassured that i'll involve everyone in the process to get you tuned as close to perfect as possible, but we'll need to set a time limit of about an hour. I'll continue helping anyone tune after the dyno day at future meets at no cost. Also, with the dyno time we're getting the help of one of the norcal's best LS1 tuners at his shop (not me). I'll release more info when its nailed down.
And as far as a disclaimer, Im not selling a service, so you cant sue me if you add a 75shot the next week and run lean... use common sense. =]
okay, enough b.s. lets get some solid numbers together.

I've not dyno'd yet i plan on doing this with the dyno time we get... If anyonehas cash flow issues, which i currently understand, pm me and if i find a new job before this dyno-day we'll work something out in trade. "you sure do got a pruddy mouth"...
My goal on the dyno is to get everyone 10-12hp, time permitted. And unlike other tunes which you'll mail order for, you'll be involved in the process and have the dyno graph and hpt files at the end of it all. Post your tune here when im done, get input from others and at the next meet i'll make the changes for you.
Beat that for 200 bucks!
see heres where i stand.. im gettign my stage 2 put in near the end of this month...im pretty sure i want to have the stage 2 in before i get the dyno tuning or else its a waste..so hopefully i get it soon so i can do this in time haha 200 bux for 10-12 hp..not bad...
