Hey that problem with the intake tube rubbing, is it rubbing on the heatsink mounted in front of the fuse box? If so I had the same problem with my K & N. I fixed it by loosening the clamp end connected to the supercharger and then loosen the bolt inside where it connects in the fender. Then pull the tube forward in the direction of the grill, hold it there and have someone tighten the bolt in the fender and then tighten the clamp on the intake. This should give you enough clearence so that it does not rub. Also I must mention that I am running a Ingalls dampener, so my motor will not move as much as a motor without the dampener. Lucky that we noticed that **** rubbing before it was to late.
Hey also I was talking with a CHP officer this morning about the tail lights. He said that there is two vehicle code sections that apply to covering the taillights. One of them states that you must beable to see the taillights from a distance of 300ft(so you could cover them as long as they are visable from that distance. The catch 22 here is, that the other vehicle code clearly states that you can't cover your tail at all. You can't even paint them. He say that the covering of your taillights code is a CHICKEN **** ticket, and most cops won't sweat it unless they have a serious bug up thier ASS. Just some in I dug up. Also just so you guys know, you can go to a local book store and purchase a copy of the California Vehicle code book. It will give you a break down and definitions of every vehile code in California.
PS: Can we get an updated list of peeps that are scheduled to try and make this meet( I want to make sure I have enough citations)? HAHAHAHA Just kidding guys. But NO seriously, how many people are actually interested and slated to show?

intakes for the most part are considered illegal emissions in California unless you intake is cetified 50 state legal. your supposed to have some sort of sticker in your engine bay that says its legal or something. so i have to go have it inspected or some ****.
