Im getting burnt out on work This really has been sucking lately.

 

about to sign up for school..... Anybody know any decent full time jobs in the sacto area? Gonna go to UTI in Sacto an March.

 

ya dave im feeling that one too...im just at the point were i dont want to do a damn thing anymore...school sucks and work is just a burden.

 

works been ok here...moving up but holidays are stressful for bestbuy with the day after thanksgiving sale comign up..and the ps3 and wii systems..woo...but in good news..although school sucks...i finish my 2 year degree in liberal arts this december....and i have a gf now so im guessing thats good woot!

 

Tell me about it I have been on 6 days a week and there making me work 11 hour days. THen yesterday my district and loss prevention managers decide to walk me for over four hours yesterday at the end of my shift. My day off totally sucks now. It seems all I do is sleep it away.

 

yep sleep and more sleep becomes your social life doesnt it? it sucks.

 

Congrats on the degree! It took my like 5 or 6 years to get my 2 year degree.

 

I just posted this link on another balt forum. Hopefuly we can get some more people to come. It would be cool if like 20 balts were there. Is this posted on the redline forums already?

 

Nevermind about these guys. I read one of there threads and this is what it said.

"Ok, so the .net has a NCCC (Nor Cal Cobalt Club) but the problem is that they have SS emblems on all the shirts or whatever they had made. They don't have any 2.2's, at most 2, 2.4's and the majority are rich little kids that had their parents get them 2.0 SS's. I'm not going to join an SS club because I don't have one...they say all Cobalt's are welcome but it's total BS. Anyways...they go and meet at Hooters or someplace like that and listen to their music too loud, kind of lame if you ask me. If I had a car club we would go on cool drives and have meets in the moutains, not in a McDonalds parking lot. We can start something but I think we need atleast 4-5 cars. The .net people looked at me crazy, my car has high performance wheels, racing seats, tinted windows, 5-speed tranny etc. just imagine the kind of crap they would be talking about your stock 4 door automatic"

I wish my parents bought my ss HA ha. If they have attitudes like that I dont think they should come. I personaly wouldnt even care if they brought there stock 2.2's. Every kind of balt is welcome.

we dont have any 2.2's cuz none of them come to the site in our area. and its Nor Cal Ecotec now. everyone with an ecotec is welcome. i'd like to see a link to this forum so i can set these guys straight. this dude is in nor cal i take it?

Ok I'm a Moderator on the Cobalt site in question. I don't know where the rivalry started cause no one from this site has ever been rude to me. We have had a few members in the past come to our site from this one because of attitudes towards them but you never know exactly what happened. I appreciate the invite and may accept. I personally appologize for any negative comments that have been made about your site and/or members. I don't want any hard feelings between our sites, we all love the same thing........our cars. And personally I drive the stock 4 door automatic that is in the quote above, and if I'm welcome among the SS's then ok.

 

Like I said in the original post man, everyone is welcome it doesnt even matter if you drive a cobalt. We had a guy at the last meet roll with us and he had a crx. Well im glad you come on this board and set some of these issues straight. Hope to see you at this meet.

 

yea bro. not sure how the beef got started but many of your members are basing the views of our small club on the views of some of the members on this entire site. Anyone and everyone is welcome to come. not sure where all the negativity came from.
