I can get something set up for either LVMS or SMMR (bit of a drive, but a lot cheaper and more available) pretty easily being as I have all the contacts as the Site Aquisition Chair for the LVRSCCA...

Of course, if you wanted to have all these activities in conjunction with some REAL DRIVING, we could make it work with the autocross on 4-11...

I could arrange for us to be able to have a show & shine area prior to or after the event, and could probably arrange a special rate for the group if we get enough cars to show up and play...

 

yeah, my pos car totally doesn't count for anything special.... I believe my vacuum has a leak now, and I think if that's not the problem my breaks are effed. and ****** carmax is retarded... They will NOT schedule me for anything! They take my money and run... wtf?

so yeah, my balt is not safe for anything but to work and home...

plus, i got a morning meeting on the 11th, but i'd be out by 10... if Carmax won't fix my car by then, i'm screwed on ever doing anything...

Red Rock Canyon is the only way to go if you want to stay close. If you want a longer drive, we can go past Hoover Dam (fun in and of itself for those that haven't seen it) and hit old Route 66 down past Laughlin - about a 2 hour drive one way...

BTW - we have firm commitments from 3 IRL owners and a 4th possible to be autocrossing on the 11th... Where the Cobalts at?!

So gay Carmax finally got me in for Tuesday... After I threw a hissy fit on the phone.... they are not exclusive like some celebrity restraunt, being backed up for months on end, so WHY did it take me two months of trying to get in? eh?

So I should be fixed by saturday... hah

Registration closes April 5th. I'm gunna talk to Scott and see what he wants to do and we'll figure something out.

 

I would like to do a scca event but I don't wanna do 1 with cones. I want to do 1 at a actual track. Just not my taste with the cones

 

I don't think you've ever tried. Cuz if you had, you'd like it. Come try it once and see.

SCCA road racing in LV is dead for the moment, although A - we do track days with the PCA a couple times a year and B - we're trying to bring it back.

 

Goin around some cones doesnt interest me really. For 55 bucks i can buy some cones and a stop watch and go to a parking lot lol. U guys have fun. I would be very interested in a track day though. If u guys do bring it back I would sign up
