Anyone know where I can find a catalytic converter for a 06 SS?? My car will not pass smog. And in the last week ive been pulled over twice. I'm starting 2 hate this damn car

 

you can try the muffler shop on water street in henderson he might have it

 

What's wrong with yours?! FWIW, the Flowmaster hi-flow units are often cheaper than even used OEM's, lol.

Quick update....I cleared the codes and had to drive about 40 miles for the car 2 reset basically. The car passed smog WOO HOO.

I got pulled over last week cuz my license plate frame/cover was to dark, some woman cop pulled me over, no other reason, she told me either pull it off or get a ticket. Then yesterday I got pulled over for my exhaust being 2 loud haha. i expected this one sooner or l8r, I asked the cop I thought it was 85 decibels at or below at idle was legal and He couldnt give me a exact number so he let me go LOL

Good move on the decible thing. I HATE HATE HATE HATE that they will torment/harass sportscar owners and people with big stereos - but NEVER the jackasses with the Harley's or other V-Twin bikes you can hear from over 1/2 a mile away. PISSES ME OFF.

 

I wasnt trying to be an ass to him or anything. I just wanted to know what the law actually said. he was like "I'm not sure what decibel" lol

 

it makes me mad too. any vehicle or 6000 punds doesnt have a noise requirment and either do bikes. as for cars. at least in cali its 95dba at 2/3 full power

I probably will go....the only thing about the track is the air temp it gets hot so ur car gets heat soaked quicker. I got a new rear tire on the bike..I'll run u lol
