I dont really think i need a tune myself, i got the ott tune. I have bin idleing weird tho..When its just sittin it sounds like it almost wants to die out, the rpms go up and down up and down. It just started doin it all of a sudden. Its weird. Idk if its the tune, if i need 2 step colder plugs (im only 1), Or if that tiny lil pita exhaust leak is coming back to haunt me. Or it could be my TB needs a cleanin. IDK

Ima take it 2 a local exhaust guy i know, ask him to look it over and quiet it down , then ill change the plugs and clean the TB and let you know drew.

How long he gonna be up this way?

 

idk a weekend. ur idle on 60s just sucks pretty much no matter wat. mines decent but about the same as urs

And also get rid of the stupid p0141 code i keep gettn, ive tried everything, even the spark plug non fouler as a spacer for the 2nd sensor and it still does it.

 

Hey guys figured I would hop in here and let everyone know whats going on. I will be buying hungrhip-ccp's hahn stage 5 kit, installing it and then heading to see some family. I will be out in cali for about 2 weeks. I will be all over the state from la to lancaster to oxnard to sacramento, so basically anyone looking for a tune I can hook up.

Since I will already be out there my rates are pretty straight forward. Depending on how many people are interested will depend on the rate. If I get 1 tune, I will do it at 250, 2 tunes for 225, 3 tunes at 200, 4 tunes at 175, and 5 or more for 150 each

SlowBalt - I'm not really sure what you meant when you said "thats 200 more then anyone is willing to spend" considering I have tuned MANY clients from this forum and others at that amount if not higher. I really hope that wasn't a dig at me

Tony - The ottp tune is pretty solid however we will be able to get more out of the car. Also your idle issue can be caused by a few different things. I am guessing that your fuel trims need to be reset which will help and there are a few different things we can do to solve that issue. Usually ottp's tunes are very very good with idles though. I can also clear any codes and or delete any codes that you need taken care of.

I was assuming so haha, I just wanted to make sure because that is a very reasonable price in my opinion

Ok then, good to know, yeah when drew told me i kinda wished i knew b4 i got the ott but that was sometime ago and most of the shops near me dont really have any type of cobalt knowledge background so.

Yeah i told them what i have and all but since then i have escewed from what i told them, (i.e. i said 1 step plugs stu mod and h/e and 2.8 and im now goin in the direction of 2 step, stu, h/e, dual pass and runnin 2.7)

so im sure it affects how the tune/car run and feel. only thing i havent done is dual pass
