The Official "Nor Cal" Thread
Whew! just got back from Thunderhill! Amazing day. Tho I didn't do the driving, Joe was there and my friend in his GTI 337. They did a lot of driving and I have a ton of pics and vids to sort thru.
I did get a chance to go for a ride with one of the instructors in his Ferrari F430. HOLY ****! That car was so quick I started getting nauseous after 2 laps and after the 6th had to have him pit, lol. I don't have a weak stomach and I love roller coasters but the owner was punishing the tires thru every turn. Unbelievably fast!

The brakes on that Ferrari...
15k...
I don't want to hear a peep out of anybody complaining about expensive parts EVER again.
The guy paid 15k. For brakes. w. t. f...
He was my instructor on the last session.
Any vehicle that's road worthy is allowed at hooked on driving.

I didn't get to ride in the Ferrari, but he was my instructor for the final session!

If you join Nasa norcal, they run instructed track days for cheaper. I just signed up for Sonoma on the 27th... we'll see how that track goes.
I'm gonna try and make a lot of the days on this list:
