My turbo is somewhat similar to the SRT4's and I can't get anywhere near 30psi lol, and I'm on a 2.3L. Mine will get over 20 at low rpms, but I never hold over 16 psi...

16-17 is about what the turbo can hold. people can make it spike higher but it def wont hold that much til redline

porting must have helped alot. i dont have alot of experience with porting so i dont know how they operate on stock turbos. i need to port my turbo manifold and turbo.

blazin is a good dude. im sure it was just a honest mistake. in 2 times of going to him, i've never had a issue. alot of the norcal srt guys have had motors built by him, swapped by him, maintenance done by him, etc. sorry that happened to brandon, i hope he gets it all sorted out

ya its been a bitch ever since the god speed turbo blew up...
the thing that bothers me is that not once did blazin use a torque wrench.. to me as a mechanic is **** poor workmanship. i build engines for a living every nut and bolt has a torque spec that i use.
He seems to know his **** on most things on thoes cars. ill give him that.
my brother tryed for like 3 or 4 days to get ahold of him with no answer..
but anyways ill be doin the work on brandons car..

u goin on the cruze?

i dunno man. i've never had a problem with the dude and neither has other people i know that have went to him. hes a timing belt, water pump, pulley tensioner, and input shaft replacement on my car with no major issues. only issue i had was my ABS sensor was loose, i had tools so it was a quick 2 minute fix lol. like i said, sorry about the misfortune.

yea, im going on the cruise. me and a few other people are gonna get our cars ready (boost leak tests, check couplers/clamps, wash, etc)

I was wondering if anyone has a stock airbox for an SS/SC that they might be willing to let me borrow (I'm in the south bay area). I'm having issues getting a CARB sticker for my intake, and was hoping to slap a stock airbox on to get my car smogged.

nice runs man. why the **** did the 14.95 sec civic have a 2 step? lol. i love hondas but damn, i hate running alot of them at the track, theyre all loud and go nowhere and from the outside its even worse! the 1 or 2 extra hp you get isnt worth the ear damage you get from not running a cat or muffler. we gotta hit up the track together one day
