I'm currently interviewing for a job in the greater Los Angeles area. I've lived in Ohio my entire life where I've never had to have my car inspected or have any emissions testing done on it.

I'm concerned about my car passing inspection and emission control standards. I have a 2007 LS that I have supercharged and was tuned by Trifecta. Other mods include an Injen CAI, shorty header, ZZP downpipe with cat, and Tsudo exhaust.

What options do I have in order to get my car registered in CA and how can I pass inspection and the emissions control test?

Yeah you wont pass smog for sure... If I was you I would just keep it with outta state plates. Cops wont tell you anything for having outta state plates.

 

Hmm, ok thanks. I'll just keep it registered out of state for as long as possible.

In the mean time I'll be looking to sell it and pick up a CA legal car...
