I had far worse damage in the same spot to that on my SS and they didn't total it. Had over 6k in damages.

Sorry about the near loss, but yeah it takes quite a bit to total out a vehicle nowadays, I managed to inflict a little over 13 k in damage on my 08 SS that blue booked at 18+k and the total was a no go, so a rear axle, two rear quarters, rear bumper, rear trunk floor pan, both side skirts, front bumper, front subframe, trunk and rear glass later (lost it in a turn, ice, and went backwards at 55 hit a mound of dirt went airborne and landed ass first in a ditch then slammed the front subframe on the curbing) things are all good. LOADS of FUN!!!!!!!
