PLEASE HELP! bad start up...
so i have a 2.4 cobalt and i just installed the k&n typhoon. everythings on fine. so i started it up, and it almost sounds like the car is coughing. like it idles very low and sounds like its dying! whats going on??? ugh.
if it helps, i have a header and catless dp. i do have a cel. idk if that could be a reason...

so i didnt really think this could happen, but it did. my maf sensor is backwards!!! i didnt make anything of it when i installed the intake, but i called k&n, and they said it wasnt normal. they sent me a shitty intake tube. here are the photos, if you guys are confused onto what i mean. they are sending me a whole new intake kit
(hopefully it works after i get this fixed)








eh my buddy has a carb aproved k&n ss/tc intake its a k&n intake with a aem carb sticker on it lol i had a 94 cavalier with a 96 and up 2.2 injen intake that was carb aproved and i passed smog every year just fine
some smog guys are to lazy to look it up, it takes like 2sec, I fail peaple for it all the time.
did you not notice the arrow pointing in the wrong direction
also if the maf on your le5 is like the one on the lsj you can just turn it around cause its not keyed. which would mean k&n didnt **** up and youre getting a free intake out of it for not paying attention hahhaa

um you dont think i tried to turn it around? it only screwed into the intake while being up-side-down. and of course i noticed it, thats why i called k&n....???????
