whats average? took the hhr out for some test runs 24.5 psi that dips to 22.5 since i guess thats the max the stock wastegate allows.

8.6 isn't average for qualcomm considering the lack of track prep. although i have a hard time believing he ran an 8.6 there on street tires. what was your 60ft and trap speed? i really hope you come to the Q this friday and prove me wrong.

Its hard to believe you ran a 8. 6 on street tires especially at qualcomm that place sucks for traction(unless you have proof). most turbo civics that go are on slicks and are only getting lower 8s so i doubt a supercharged cobalt is getting 8.6s on street tires. if you want people to believe you prove it post the time slip of you getting that time. I will be more than happy to post my 8.7. for mods on your car i can guess on a few gm stage2, megan coilovers, CAI, and maybe a 3 inch exhaust. I can't forget the jbp header you just installed too. do you have nitrous at all lol?

 

so what they dont prep the track at all cause i've pulled 8.9 on street tires on stage 2 at L.A.C.R. which is a shitty track with a constant 10-20mph headwind and poor elevation...

by the way how long has that track been around? is there a healthy amount of rubber put down, it takes years to make a decent track! have you ever walked on the track? does it take your shoes off?

and the 8.6 you ran was that with the QTP and what were you launching at?

 

first off. qualcomm is not a "track". its a parking lot that they turn into an 1/8th mile racing strip. i ran an 8.6 w/2.1 60ft @ 85mph. that was on Nitto 555R dr's. i was launching at 4,000. i've tried launching from 2,000-4,500 and 4,000 seems to suit my car the best. but i ran this time on the stock clutch and stock axles. i never got a real chance to run my car with the new clutch and axles. i think i busted 3 stock axles right off the line with the new clutch. i never even got the chance to let it wheel hop. SNAP!

well i would go if i could but i have family issues and i have to spend the weekend in el centro....i know at q is a really horribly prepared track but i ran on the left side if the track and if u use street tires on that side its sticky and i launched at 36 to 3800 rpm....and the wheels stook and i just pulled .....2.3 60ft at 87mph...... and that was a good night 4 me....besides the fact i ...basicly..fried my cluch ...........and about the cblt12 i was joking bro ,......but if u couldnt take a joke that cool.....i didnt mean to **** u off.....but ok

so then what are your mods? if your tires "stook" and you still managed to trap 87mph w/2.3 60ft it doesn't quite add up. 2.3 is hardly "stook" if you ran an 8.6 @87mph W/2.3 60ft then your car has a lot of potential for a better time. maybe even a 8.3. i doubt you still have your time slip. and i'm not pissed. i think it's funny that you're coming in here making claims. i called you out on it and your panties twisted.

yeah ...it was.....and i bent a few valves,,,,,,and messed up the im put and out put bearings........it was hell..........i was running the sniper kit...........75 wet .........cracked 2 sets of axles also......................i work 4 general motors so i kinda got the hook up...
