Sideways Sundays, a grassroots event where Novice and Intermediate Drifters have the opportunity to hone their skills alongside the Pros. Join us for our season finale as we bring back the Parking Lot Course in a Pre Halloween Celebration featuring non-stop drifting, drag racing, music, a lifestyle expo and free swag!
Events Schedule:
o Gates open at 8am
o Drifting 8:45am to 5pm
o Drag racing 9:45 to 5pm
o Gates close at 6pm
Registration Fees:
o Spectators $10 (Kids under 12 free)
o Ride alongs $10
o Drifting $80 (40 driver limit)
o Drag Racing $40 per vehicle
o Drift & Drag Combo $110

To Vendors:
10’ x 10’ booth space comes with two free passes for $250 and a 10’ x 20’ space comes with three passes for $300. Space reservations are on a first come basis, so get your email in today to get the space location of your choice.

Toyota Drag Strip at Irwindale ET Guidelines and Rules:
1. All drivers and passengers MUST wear:
a. Long pants
b. Shirt with sleeves
c. Closed toe shoes – no nylon
2. Cars that go 8.59 or quicker in the 1/8 mile: approved helmet required; no passengers allowed.
3. Cars that go 7.25 or quicker in the 1/8 mile: approved helmet, roll bar, 5 point seat harness, jacket meeting SFI Spec 3.2/1 mandatory; no passengers allowed.
4. Cars that go 6.39 or quicker in the 1/8 mile: approved helmet, roll cage, 5 point seat harness, and competition license required; no passengers allowed.
5. Drivers of cars utilizing aftermarket power adders – turbochargers, superchargers, nitrous – are required to wear a single layer jacket meeting SFI Spec 3.2A/1 guidelines.
6. Mufflers are required on ALL cars and motorcycles.
7. All drivers are required to have a valid driver’s license.
8. Competitors under the age of 18 are required to have a Minor Release form completed prior to competing at Toyota Drag Strip at Irwindale. The form is valid for the balance of the 2011 year.
9. Cars and motorcycles brought in on trailers must be removed prior to tech inspection.
10. All cars must have the required number of wheel studs and must have a lug nut on each stud.
11. All convertible cars must have the top up to race or provide the driver with approved arm restraints.
12. Seat belts must be worn at all times in the water box and on the drag strip.
13. Windows must be in the closed position in the water box and during the run.
14. Speed limit in the pits is 5 Miles Per Hour.
15. All cars are required to have an overflow catch tank for the radiator.
16. Batteries located in the stock position must be properly braced. Relocated batteries must be secured in an approved battery box.
17. All vehicles must have an operating neutral safety switch.
18. Motorcycles must be equipped with a chain guard. Riders must wear a leather jacket, gloves and leather shoes that cover the ankles.
