ok, i have a 2006 SS/SC, i bought it in North Carolina, from a fellow soldier that changed posts from Hawaii (where the car was purchased) when he traded it in for a truck. the car is stored in California, as im in Iraq right now, im pretty sure it doesn't meet calif. emissions standards, is there any way to grandfather it in, maybe that the wrong word. would i be able to register it in calif. without doing serious work? thanks

 

just go get it tested and see what they say... if its stock theres a decent chance its already up to code.

thanks. the thing is, i had a new front bumper put on, because i had front a front liscense plate bracket, and i didn't want it there, and i could swear there used to be a little sticker that said does not meet cailfornia emissions standards.

i wouldnt mind driving. san diego's not too far away, if i were driving the car i would be in Huntington Beach, but its only in yucca valley because it's in storage. do you do smog testing, or do you have sweet hook-ups haha

 

i tune so i could lean u up and take u to a place to get u smoged...what are ur mods?

if not lean it out ^_^

 

at the moment all i have is a CAI, but in about 6 or 7 mnths, stage 3 and a full catback + headers
