ya but as long as he tries loggin in from his house they will continue banning him because his IP is the same. atleast for another week or so until it changes

IP banning is extremely common. The first week that another forum i'm on we had to IP ban about 30 different spammers.

 

ya ip banning is really the only way to try and perma ban someone too bad nobody gets a static IP from their provider which makes IP banning pretty much null and void because static IP's cost a lot per month to keep the same IP. so everyone gets a dynamic IP which changes about once a week which is why after a week someone who has been IP banned can create a new account and until they get caught by the mod who banned them are free to roam the site as usual
