TBH i dont know the first thing about those cars
other than they are slow and sorta look like a cobalt haha

they drive pretty nice justin and handle well just no torque

 

yessir

they have bolt on m62 kits available... they obviously look a tad diff due to differing mounting and intake designs.

without any aftercooler or intercooler those cars on m62s run close to 300whp on low boost. The guys on meth are well above the 300 mark, and still without any after or inter cooler, just chemical cooling.

they make considerably less trq than us... tho their trq line is very flat and holds practically to their 8400ish redline.

yup... great engine, horrible tranny... much nicer interior; I'd take one

 

yeah i drove it today wasnt horribly torquless i did feel some torque steer (forgot what TS since i drive rwd now haha) did feel solid, shifting in to gears 3 and 5 were awkward, noetheless car felt solid picked it up for 6900 with 80000 IIRC

yu might be one of the few who dislike the tranny, but the 6sp in the rsx-s/civic si is definitely one of the best trannys out on a sport compact/econobox car

 

I should of been more specific

I meant to say, it's common practice to replace or rebuild the k20 tranny when you add any sort of power adder. even N/A w/ bolt ons there's issues w/ gears going out, etc.
