So Cal Chat part deux!
Awesome! I lost it for a bit. My back end wanted to meet the front end.
I hope Raul's lil bro got the vid of it. It was cold up there, and I forgot to bring a sweater. They had some good hot chocalete though. I like the night cruise on the way back to the 15. I dozed off, no music. Just enjoyed the drive.
I took vids but youtube takes forever to finish loading the vid and FB says it take 35hrs for it to even load from the computer >.<

Is it stock or does it have any of the stage upgrade kits on it... A supercharged LSJ can be made wickedly fast bro.
Run straight E85 with some 80lbs injectors and with that new TVS you will be very very surprised at what kind of power is within reach. IF you run 80s on 91 octane it will run like rotten dog **** but once you run E85 you will never go back. I raced a E85 tuned M62 SC in tucson when I was out there for work a few months ago. All I had at the time was a tune but we each took one of the two races we ran.
LNFs can't run straight E85 like you LSJs can. I have to see about possibly swapping my high pressure fuel pump and injectors for ones from the new flex fuel LHU in the Buick Regal. It will allow me to run straight E and take advantage of the 25 degrees of spark advance and more stable high boost fueling you can get with ethanol.

I read every performance book, magazine and build book I can... I read alot of service manuals back in the day. I have bene reading about cars since I was 6 sitting in my dad's lap while he showed me how to take **** apart and put it back together... I also took classes in college to be a mechanical engineer before I realized I would kill myself if I had to work indoors everyday.
It's all based on thermal efficiency. If you can increase efficiency of the motor you increase power. E85 holds an oxygen molecule on it's molecular chain which allows the fuel to be run at a richer ratio, which allows for more timing advance, and that allows for more thermal expansion of the burning air/fuel mix, which all allows for more power... oh yea and ethanol burns a little cooler, and its very knock resistant.
I honestly didn't know much about the LNF/LSJ setup before I started reading online service manuals and build books and stuff. Then as with any engine it just makes sense... Just have to think of it as an air pump that uses heat to create power.
