SoCal *IE* Dyno Day - Saturday, May 9th
Hot on the heels of today's dyno (which I couldn't make due to work), there's going to be another dyno day but this time in San Bernardino coming up on Saturday, May 9th at ST Motorsports. They're located a few miles north of the 10 & 215 junction near Chaparral. If you're looking to compare your car to others in the area or across the country, they use an inertia-style Dynojet which is probably the most accurate for comparisons when using SAE correction.
The price is going to be $45 for three pulls with A/F and I believe they will be providing lunch as usual to those who dyno. The owner Adam specializes in Mustangs, SRT-4, and a lot of other Ford and GM products. He does primarily Diablo tuning among others and works pretty close with a few aftermarket companies. For example at this dyno day I believe he's going to be dynoing the first Chrysler 300C SRT-8 with a twin-screw Kenne Bell blower kit that he's been working with them on development.
The facility has a very large enclosed parking lot behind the building and it's usually a good time for all. For the price it's also hard to beat. I've known them for years and their dyno has always been very consistent. He's going to be hosting dyno days more often so if you want a baseline and then come back later to the same facility later on you shouldn't have a problem. They also rent by the hour or all day for anyone interested.
Date: Saturday, May 9th
Time: 9am until everyone is done (probably late afternoon/early evening)
Location: ST Motorsports
Address: 380 S. I ST., San Bernardino, CA 92410
Cost: $45 for 3 pulls w/ A/F
Right now a few of the Neon and Caliber SRT-4 guys are going to attend and I'm also going to post on one of the Focus forums since I might be bringing my SVT. It's pretty much open to anyone but keep in mind it's only a 2WD dyno.

Maybe I'll show up and dyno the sienna
Last time I dyno'd something it blew up on me.
ls1fbody - dyno-ing the TVS was exciting....I can't wait til you have a built motor and you dyno your's. BUT...Don't think you can post you results on here...everyone will doubt it...even if CNN was there, they'll still pick your results apart.

If all you want is to get an idea and compare your numbers to other cars, an inertia-style Dynojet that's properly set up reading accurate environmental sensor data and applying good SAE correction is probably the best. Just keep in mind that no two dynos will always read perfect the same so take any numbers with a grain of salt. At least the Dynojets are easier to compare and usually pretty close. Add in trap speed from the track and you can get a pretty good picture of your car's performance.
I've actually had my minivan on this particular dyno. Rigged an intercooler into the plumbing in the parking lot and cranked up the boost. Didn't quite have enough fuel to make significantly more power, but it was fun to take to the track.
i might be there with my new surprise. steve knows wat it is.lol

Ive dynoed there in the past, very cool group of guys. Spanking time motorsports had to of had at least 3 800hp+ mustangs. Wonder if they at least cleaned up, shop was a bit of a mess last i went.
