I'm guessing you wrote you up for "Modified Smog Devices" besides the modified exhaust. If so, sorry to break it to you, but you will have to return you car back to stock completely. Unless your aftermarket parts have been assigned a C.A.R.B. #. The only one who will be able to give you a certificate is the State Referee for your exhaust and to make sure your vehicle is in complience with state law. So buh bye aftermarket header, intake, etc. Once again though, if they have a C.A.R.B. # you're good. I got the same citation for an aftermarket turbo kit on my old car. Another thing to keep in mind is until your receive the certificate from the state referee, you CANNOT LEGALLY be driving your car on public road unless going/coming from a mechanic shop or state referee. If you get pulled over, depending on the cop, you'll receive a moving violation ticket (point on record) and if he really wants to get you, impound the car. Best advice, return it to stock or get the C.A.R.B. numbers from the manufactures that made your parts IF they have one.
P.S. Exhaust is separate, simply make sure it passes smog and is below 95 dB.
