Just got tickets to see a taping of Top Gear. Is anyone else going to a taping this season? Or have been to the previous season tapings?

 

top gear america is terrible...i would only go just so i can make fun of the hosts

 

Ya i know. the brit version is the best. however i don't have time or $ to fly over there. i do have time to drive an hour into irvine tho.

 

BEST SHOW EVER. that is all and im jealous oh wait, its the american one...ya gay

 

tanner foust is cool but the other guys are bad actors and above all..........THEY CANT FREEKING DRIVE! i remember seeing an episode where they had to do donuts in a 350z and they couldnt. and when they are doing the test drive review it never shows them doing anyhing but 30mph in a straigh line then the crazy driving is always outside the car so you cant see them. and who are they to review cars over $100,000 Jeremy Clarkson has been doing it since the 80's!!!! they new guys make me so mad!

I don't like tanner.... He seems really full of him self when I met him at rally cross in march, Dave mura was a cool guy tho!

 

id be full of myself if i was a young millionaire that could drive any car in circles at will.

 

Actually, my friend and I met him... He is really chill. I mean come on if you are in his position, a bunch of people are going to ask you dumb **** but if you come up to him and talk about cars and stuff like you would at a car meet with any of your buddies, he is cool.

Tanner is the only one who knows what he is talking about on that show, even though he is full of himself. It`s got nothing on UK top gear.

 

everybody needs to stfu about top gear uk, go watch season 1-5 and tell me if its the ****.

Until this post I had almost completely forgotten about top gear us.

 

better than watching top gear us regurgitate episodes already made by the uk verison. i wouldnt mind the show half as much if wood and adam shut their mouths and actually did some original skits/challenges with the cars. not to mention british humor is an added plus IMO

 

we really dont have no car personalities , only one i can think of is the fat dude from the car show the fat one. the motor trend or two guys garage r all damn boring. Jay is not a good idea either, prolly tidus is another one.

Adam Corolla and Leno should have been the main hosts. However Leno turned down the offer to host. Something bout it wasn't gonna live up to the UK version?

It would def be better if they were the main hosts.

 

agreed...corolla and leno would have been a great match...however the car show i felt was a bit over played, but its still better than watching the 3 idiots we have repin the us tp
