Try to keep the rpm's low when starting off. If you havent smelt clutch smoke yet, your doing pretty good for your first manual. The car will be fine.

and clutch smoke smell's ******* foul, you would know if you smelt it.

Well ive smelt something smell like it was burning but didnt distinguish it as being clutch. I said it smelt like new burning off haha

And to help with taking off in first, letting the clutch out is not a completely continuous motion. you kind of pause where the clutch grabs for a second before continuing to let it out.

Ok sounds good. Ive felt the engine in the clutch i think, theres times where i cant feel vibration almost as if something is spinning. I feel this will im releasing the clutch. I just always get a lurch coming from a dead stop.

I get the same vibrating feeling in the car, kinda like you can feel power going through it. Never felt it in the hondas ive drive before, or my dads g8.
