I love soccer too, but hey, my dad was born in Scotland so what do you expect?

I am saying it right now...Germany v Brazil in the final is my calculated prediction, with GERMANY coming out on top (everyone is saying Brazil is going to do it, but I don't think they will).

I hope the U.S. does well too, but I think they will fall to England. However, at least you made the damn tournament, unlike us here in Canada.

Mexico vs South Africa...does S.A. even stand a chance? Too young and too inexperienced to take on Mexico.

What about MVP?

a. Messi - Argentina
b. Cristiano Ronaldo - Portugal
c. Wayne Rooney - England

I, personally like Cristiano but they won't make it too far...

The World Cup is such a great event and I hope it lives up to everybody's expectations.

Who are people picking as their "upset" teams that nobody is giving credit to?

I am saying Ivory Coast, Cameroon, and also Greece. I think these teams will do more than they have been given credit for.

Teams who will fall flat: Portugal.

My country (Trinidad) didn't qualify this year so I'm rooting for Argentina. The excitement in 06 for the cup was unbelievable.
