....................Who in their right mind would pay this price besides a full fledged race team or someone with money to burn? That is an insanely high price for something with almost no value at all. I just looked up the same thread pattern and its well under that price.

I understand trying to recoup development costs but how can they price these so expensive and expect people to buy them to make the money back. Trying to make the money back off of only 4 sales?

What is the cost anyways per gram of titanium? What I'm finding shows that they shouldn't cost near this much for the 26 grams advertised.
