Auxiliary coolant tank bracket sale
Auxiliary coolant tank bracket sale
We had a couple local customers who had ordered and installed the auxiliary coolant tank on their 2.0 Supercharged cars. Both had zip-tied the coolant tank to the GM bracket. Both customers expressed a desire for us to fabricate a bracket to properly mount the tank.
Here's what we came up with:

It's hard to tell just what the bracket is in these pictures. That's actually the point. The bracket looks stock as if it was installed at the factory. We will take pictures of the bracket alone so you can see what we are describing.
Currently we are hand building these so the best we can offer is $35.00 each, painted black.
If there is enough interest we can see about doing these in billet aluminum to reduce the cost. Laser cut / CNC machined would be much quicker but minimum quantity for this type of part would be 25.
Let us know what you think.
Thanks everyone.

Thanks for all your comments.
I must say, the Cobalt and Ion community are much more active and involved with their cars, clubs, etc than any other niche market we have supported. It's a welcome change.
No prob. There are other minor differences such as the radiator upper support frame being a lott closer to the engine/supercharger creating some clearance issues. It is possible to change pulleys/hubs on the redline without removing the supercharger. It is virtually impossible to do so on the cobalt
that would be my car ur lookin at! if u want some more pic ill take them... just so u know i didnt take the blower off when i painted it... and the scratches in the blower are from when we pulled it off to do the Opt B. Dan thanks for all the great work!
sweet piece, just a couple of questions, what is the second tank for, the engine coolent or the intercooler??? Also how do you hook it up? cause i think i might need one depending what it's for!
Thanks.
Also, we are working on a trick piece for the HE up-grade and option. If it works out you guys are in for a treat. Enough said....
Ahh you got me all fired up now Dan! I'm looking into this bracket and hopefully once i get ready for my "dual-pass" I'll definitly get your bracket. I heard words of a billet one? What would be the price difference for that? And possible etching available?
You guys have us thinking and considering a number of parts now. I need a car back if you're available Friday... We can work on one project at a time.
Thanks again.
I talked to Dan today and he said he could possibly make the left side of the bracket verticle so you wouldn't stand out and towards the firewall bend it up towards the front of the car for a good viewing angle and etch it with a Supercharged engraving which i think would look alot better. What do you think cole?
