I cant wait for my AIS Stg 2 kit to come in, although its also coming with a Werks IC, which i am even more excited for so i can actually drive my car.

Sweet! thanks man. Gonna sub to that thread and continue to look. I checked out AEM's kit, or at least their failsafe system which seems really amazingly tunable. I really don't want to find a place for another gauge though. My dash is clean now with the dual gauge bezel but no more room for another gauge.

Ive been thinking that maybe i should get a separate tank? Reason why people dont use the washer fluid tank? The trunk mount i fear may fail but ive never read about that happening. Tips anyone?

I'm going with a seperate because this is my DD and I use my washer fluid tank for my windshield sometimes and there's no place in the front of the car to put a 5 gallon tank. I can also get an awesome deal on the aem kit thru work. One of the guys i work with has aem meth kit with trunk tank and he's had it for about 3 yrs and he puts about 10k miles on his car and hasnt had any problems yet and his car loves meth.

i was reading a "how to" on the aem meth kit and it tells to you to install the meth nozzle about 6 inches before the throttle body. By installing the meth nozzle after the throttle body could that cause any problems? why do they say to install the nozzle before the tb?

That's next on the list. I found a local supplier with the material for the right price, saves a LOT on the shipping costs for the big sheets Im buying. Those should be coming around by the end of the month

I should have these spacers tomorrow, forgot this was a holiday, doh!

Anybody answer this yet? I'm curious as well since this is the kit I'll most likely pickup also... I personally can't see any reason why there'd be a before or after the throttle body, but somebody around here should know for sure.. no?

I believe I answered it already, it says to be placed WITHIN 6" of the TB People place 4 nozzles at times, 1 in each Intake Manifold Runner for the best disbursement. So using it here will be no issue, the LSJ guys run plates like this as well.



Ill be getting the packages together today and they should all be going out tomorrow. The stragglers need to get their payments in or their plates will be sold off the couple people interested that have PM'd me

lol jk, cant wait to get mine. Although the weather up here is getting colder, i may wait until next year to tune my meth, i would think its best to do it on a hot day? Am i right in saying this?

IMO, its always best to tune the car on a average day. Not one extreme or the other. Meth helps keep everything consistent, that is its purpose!
