Hello fellow cobalt fans,
I used to be on this forum all the time. Since I sold my cobalt I've been active on the Syclone and Typhoon forum because that is what I own. Anyways, long story short a good friend of mine owns a 2005 SS/SC bone stock. Has 60k miles on it and he needs to replace the rear shocks. (surprise, surprise) What would be the best replacement parts for the price and quality? Thanks for your help.

Edit: By the way, this cobalt is used for daily driving and no racing what so ever. So my friend is not looking for performance, just looking for a good price rear shock with great quality.

For a daily driver a stock replacement is fine, but you can cheaply upgrade to the ss/tc rear shocks..

The SS/TC rear shocks a direct replacement? Or do you have to modify it in any way. If its a direct replacement and they are better, why not...
