07 SS Supercharged FE5

Friends, I have the original FE5 suspension package on my Cobalt SS and am trying to find a bolt on quick replacement for my struts, shocks, and springs. What do you recommend?

I don't know if there is a quick solution for the fe5, i know there is for the fe1/fe3. So if wheel gap isn't a huge concern the fe1/fe3 will fit no issue.

the "quick strut" (complete strut, spring and top hat) assemblies ive seen for the cobalts, despite claiming to fit fe5 cars, it actually fe1 spec. they bolt into the car ok, but you will end up with the car sitting as high as a base model in the front.

When I had my shocks and struts replaced, I just used stock GM components. I don't know how much of that is still available over the counter. But I'm also not looking to deal with the trials and tribulations of a non-stock car in my daily driver.

I used the stock springs, new hats, and Adj Koni Yellow(all four corners)set on full soft my Daily Driver '09 SS. Better damping, same stock "stiffness"

Crate Engine Depot used to sell a kit with the struts, shocks, and springs.

ZZP also has parts.

For the love of god don't cheap out and use Monroe quickstruts. At least replace it with OEM.
