awesome thread! I hated mine I got from a supporting vendor... I will build a set though just to have for the track. But with suspension travel and what not I do not recomend daily driving on these cause you will bend your rod eyes!

Due to the different suspension system on the TC would this still be a positive mod?

Great how to... Def doing this. My only concern is it catching on something because my care is lowered about 3 inches. This is a good mod for any car... Its all about getting the geometry right though. If your suspension is dropped or different from phatnackySS's the length could be different. A one inch drop wont make that much different but a 2.2 is like 3 inches higher than a car with after market springs...

Interesting. I may have to try this on my TC next time I go to the track. It gets nasty when I shift from 1->2.

Not all of the time, If it is below 80 degrees outside then yes, but mostly that is the tires. If I rev high and launch I get wheel hop too.

I would say it would definately curb your high rpm wheel hop and if you use no-lift-shift between 1sth and 2nd it should help well there too.

well befor i was running Kumho ECSTA SPT's that was UHP summer treadwear of 320 and they were great now im running hankook Ventus V4 ES H105 wich is a UHP all sesaon tire 430 tredwear. i got the i went with the h105s becasue i wasnt going to the track much and i needed somthing that would last (50 miles a day to/from work).

so its not that hankook is bad , its just the spts were so much better lol. Im thinking i might try heating them up alittle next time i go to the track.

no problems yet. i think alot of peoples issues may have been due to lack of proper lubrication. the bearings are metal to metal so you have to use a metal to metal lubricant like white lithium grease, and you have to keep them greased. But only the test of time will tell.
