front end humming noise?

front end humming noise?

im having a very annoying front end noise. its like a humming sound. wheel berings are good. i replaced the cv shafts cause i had a wobble upon accelerating and i thought it would help the sound. im on 215/40/18 bfg kdw's and k sport coilovers

Are you shure its not a wheel bearing, there is such a thing as new bad part. I dont no if u had them replaced recently. When ur driving and the noise happens turn the steering wheel side to side if the noise goes away or gets louder, u gotta bad bearing. Check your tires for abnormal wear such as cupping. Even a slightly cupped low pro tire can made alot of noise. Hope this helps.

My driver side axle was replaced and now it does this, but i just ignore it.

i rotated my tires and the noise is still there. could it be a tranny mount?

Its more than likely going to be a wheel bearing, man. They'll make noise even if there's no play in it at all.

I've replaced 4 or 5 wheel bearings in Cobalts/Ions recently.

how many miles are on the tires and when was the last time u've had an alignment?

i would just try balancing the front tires and see if they are out of round
