I hear some clunking in the back with CM Springs in my 09 SS/TC.
Ever since I lowered my car with the CM Springs, I have been hearing some clunking in the back and I don't know why. I don't hear any up front, just in the back when I drive slow or hit a speed bump. What would be the cause? How can I fix it? My car is going straight as an arrow, nothing is dragging to the left or right, so it can't be the control arms up front. I don't have a anti rear sway bar yet. I'm running my 3" catless DP down with my stock exhaust.

I hear others who have SSC or CM's don't have this issue. I'm thinking it could be a loosen bolt in the back or its hitting the exhaust. If you remember my other forum, I posted what it looked like underneath.

my car isn't dragging left or right. My end links are fine so far. But, I'm gonna get a wheel alignment done and hopefully it will go away.

just thinking it could be a loosen bolt or not tighten down with the shocks or the exhaust is hitting it. but, yes I'm gonna get a wheel alignment done and check to see if the exhaust is hitting or the shocks bolts are loose.

I only hear this clunk when I hit a speed bump or drive slow. I don't know if its related to coil bind in the back. I could put the stock springs back in the back and leave the fronts be to isolate the variable.

well it turns out they could be upside down, cause I talked to Tommy about that one. The closets coils should be on the bottom. So, I'm gonna have fun getting that corrected and wheel alignment and should be golden. If I sell anything its gonna be the 3rd gens and I might go back to Depos, have Gestapo paint my rims gun metal.

I did turn them the right way from what Tommy said. Tighten down the shock bolts. So far, I hear a little, but not a loud clunk that heard before. I didn't hear any when I went over speed bumps. So I'm gonna let these settle for awhile.
