Question KYB vs FE5 shocks n struts

What's the difference?
I'm looking to buy some soon and was hoping to find them on zzp's site..but no luck.. they only sell KYB... And seems like a good price considering I have 125 worth of zzp credit left...
But I want fe5'ssssssssss
Thoughts.. thanks

Depends on which model KYB, but I would likely pick the KYB.

Can I put FE5 shocks.struts on my 06 2.4 SS/NA with KSPORTS? Would this help make the ride less bouncy?

So is there a physical difference between FE3 and FE5 struts/shocks? I am wondering if the FE5 would wear out just as fast as the FE3 with my KSPORT springs...

I'd only go with KYB if they had the AGX variant available for the Cobalt. Those shocks are pretty much the best bang for the buck.

But KYB OEM shocks are "less than" GM OEM FE5 Turbo shocks

SS/SC are FE5.

SS/TC are better FE5.

SS/NA are FE3.

LS/LT are FE1.

On FE5 you can go lower with less risk of blowing the struts compared to FE3 and FE1.

Koni > SS/TC FE5 >= KYB > SS/SC FE5 > FE3 > FE1

Between the TC FE5 and KYB's... get whichever is cheaper imo.

They're both about the same

THIS....100%

I had AGX'S on my 91 SE-R. Those were the best bang for the buck period and it made the car in a big way. KYB isn't exactly manufactured the same way they used to be. You'll be lucky if your car is actually level..

It's like going into walmart now and seeing brand names you grew up with on shitty stuff.
