NEW Suspension Parts

Recently we have been approached by a local performance company wanting us to carry some of their suspension components for the LSJ.

We thought we post up and get everyones opinions before we start selling. We will fully test and inspect all parts before selling them with the Rebel seal of approval.

On the side note, our website has been fixed and fully functional, please take a look and let us know if you want anything added or you find something wrong. Thanks

TWIN LOWER SUBFRAME BAR

One of the newest products is the lower subframe bar, it bolts under the LSJ's front end. The bar is bolted to the frame where the stock A-arm bolts purtrude.
Supplied are 4 high strength bolts that replace the stock LSJ A-arm bolts,
they are longer, go through the frame and into the bar, and also four nylock
nuts that hold the bar in place. NO modifications are needed to mount this
part. Made with 1/4" thick steel mounting plates, and 1" wide schedule 40
piping for the bars. Colour of the part is either black or primer (for
colour matching purposes).

Price of a single bar is $130CDN
Group Buy Price of $120CDN

SWAY BAR END LINKS

Much thicker and stronger than stock, using heim joints welded one piece units. Supplied in this kit is Two endlinks, 1/2" bolts, spacers, and nylock nuts. The only modification needed
to mount this part is the bolt hole on the strut needs to be bored/drilled out to 1/2" (it is made for 12mm, where the 1/2 bolt is 12.54mm, but the swaybar is allready drilled at 1/2", which makes the stock unit alittle sloppy in the hole). Again colour will be black or primer.

Price of set $150CDN
Group Buy Prices $130CDN

REAR SUSPENSION BAR

The bar connects between the rear trailing arms, making the rear suspension more rigid and transfers weight front left to right in a corner. This does not replace a
rear sway bar but adds to the rigidity of the rear end. Unit is adjustable,
this is the only way to put possitive camber on the rear wheels. Supplied in
the kit is the bar, and bolts to attach it to the rear suspension. This kit
does require stock holes to be drilled out to install the kit. Colour will
be black or primer.

Price of a single bar $90CDN
Group Buy Price $85CDN

TRACTION BARS

Supplied bars are Aluminum, with heim joints, and all the bolts/fasteners to install the kit. This kit will require holes being bored/drilled out, easy installation. 04 ION's need a
1/8" hole in the control arm to be drilled out to 5/8", later models will need a little reaming, but not major hole drilling like the 04's, the subframe needs reaming for all years. These bars WILL cause creaking, clunking in the front end, this is normal since the kit hard bolts the suspension arm to the frame. Currently the only colour is Red anodized.

Price of the kit is $180CDN
Group Buy Price $160CDN

REIGN SS 11-14-2007 10:36 AM

I would assume most of this will be usable on all models, of course Rebel will have to test to be sure.

HackAbuse 11-14-2007 10:37 AM

I'll test the subframe bar on my car :)

if you look at the BWoody bars, they come with Rubber pieces that go inbetween the frame and the bolts. if you have this and properly tighten them down there will be no more noise.

mine used to shift and make noise until I hit the bolts with an impact wrench and now they are quiet as can be.

good job for coppertop too for making business moves :thumb:

g5mike 11-14-2007 10:50 AM

The sway bar end links will absolutely NOT fit all models. Been there. Done that. I got sent a set for the FE3 (SS 2.4/Ion Redline suspension) and they don't even come remotely close to fitting the FE5 suspension on the SS/SC, they're about 2" too long.

SS/SCking 11-14-2007 02:03 PM

GB on the twin lower subframe bar!! Just include a shipped price to the U.S.

lsjwannabe 11-14-2007 02:17 PM
