Rear Damper Adjustment for KSport Coilovers?
I've been looking around on how to adjust the REAR dampers on the KSport coilovers and can't find anything at all mentioning it. I bought mine used and it rides incredibly harsh and the rear is pretty bouncy. Save the coilovers are supposed to ride bad crap, because my friend has the same ones and his rides much better. I also have coilovers on my Trailblazer and they ride better than the stock suspension. From what I've found, when new the fronts come adjusted 3 clicks from the softest setting. The only thing I can figure for the rears is somehow rotating the shaft of the shock, it has 4 little wrenches that look like they might be somehow involved with that. The instructions mention nothing about the damper adjustment period... I'm also going to make sure it isn't sitting on the bump stops, but I want to adjust the shocks at the same time so I don't have to do double work. Any information is appreciated.

You have to put like a 15mm wrench or something on the top right below where the bolt goes through then put a screw driver through the hole and spin it off.

Ah, ok. Is the rear supposed to come three clicks from the softest setting just like the front? I haven't touched the front yet so I'm not sure if it has actually been changed yet or not. I just concerned with the ride height when I put them on since adjusting the dampers won't affect the alignment.

i have the ksports and all my wrenches are too thick to even slide on to the shock to even try to break it open to adjust the damper
poor design choice, a guy told me to shave it to access it better haha
i set my front to full stiff and for my latest setup i have it 5-6 clicks down on the front. absorbs better
the size is 11/16

Alright, I'll mess with the fronts tomorrow to see where they're at now and then wherever I decide to put the fronts I'll just do the same with the rear and see how that does. Did any of you have to trim the bump stop at all? I had to replace my whole upper spring seat because the isolators were falling apart so I didn't trim the bump stops since they're new. It was late when I was done and I was just ready to get home so I forgot to see if the rear was on or close to the bump stops.

left them alone, the bump stops.
if the fronts were never moved they should be at baseline or neutral from soft to stiff. i think thats what the instructions said haha

Alright, thanks for the help. I'm curious if they've been changed or not. Something tells me they have been though since the previous owner didn't have the springs adjusted correctly in the front, there was a good inch of free movement in the spring with the shock uncompressed. The rear is the biggest problem to me, it's really harsh and bouncy.

The rear bounces if I even set a shirt on the trunk it's so damn bouncy. Having the rear super bouncy and the front at the neutral setting makes it more bareable, but it makes me want to not even drive on them.

I've got mine off and set it to almost the softest setting like 2 clicks and it rides 100x better than when I first set them up. I had them at 10 clicks then. You can buy a thin 11/16 at like lowes or Home Depot.

Alright, that's what it looks like. I'll probably be messing with this Monday or Tuesday after work so I just want to know exactly what I'm looking for so I can knock it out and get home. I got under it the best I could today in the driveway without laying in the dirt and the bump stops feel pretty close to the axle. I should be able to lay on the clean ground at work and get a better look if they are or not. So I may give them a little trim and I also may raise the rear just a tad, it's parked a little unevenly right now but the rear may be a hair lower than the front.

I finally got around to this today, and HOLY COW it rides so good now. The adjusters where turned all the way to the hardest setting. Now they're 3 clicks from the softest (which from what I saw is factory). I might actually go a little firmer, but I'm going to leave it like it is for now.
