Question Sway Bar Bushings

So I installed poly sway bar bushings on my 06 SS N/A Cobalt last spring. I began noticing some noise on bumps and corners. Checked under for loose or bad bushings (CAB, Ball Joints Etc) only thing I found was the sway bar slides freely side to side between the stops. I thought they should be tight, and if I remember correctly , they were tight when installed, no side to side movement. Did I wear out the poly bushings in 6 mo? And if so what is better, stock rubber or some other aftermarket?

Poly is not good material if your car sees salt. It wears out much quicker.
