Upper strut mount
 

I know you have all seen threads about this before but my passanger front makes a clunking noise on bumpy roads, i was told it was the sway bar endlinks which are in perfect shape (dosent wobble, bolts are tight), then the upper strut mount, then I was told to just replace the entire strut

Can I take out the upper strut mount to check it without removing the strut or any other suspension part?

no u will have to pull the strut out to inspect it.
